The Adaptive Capability Diagnostic is a comprehensive engagement that reveals your adaptive maturity, identifies critical capability gaps, and produces a strategic roadmap - not for your next transformation project, but for how your organization operates from now on.

The diagnostic meets you where you are, using the vocabulary and frameworks your leadership already knows. The goal is to move you somewhere different - toward an organization that senses, responds, and evolves continuously, rather than one that renovates itself every few years and hopes the results stick.

Most organizations are assessed and managed using building vocabulary - fixed structures, static hierarchies, governance frameworks bolted on top. Based on your diagnostic findings, strategic priorities, internal capacity, and timeline, you choose how to move forward.

TIER 1: Chief Adaptability Officer (Fractional or Interim)

Full executive ownership of your organization's adaptive capability

 

You need this if:

  • Diagnostic revealed gaps across multiple capability dimensions

  • You need senior executive focus on building adaptability (not just another initiative)

  • Leadership team is maxed out and can't own this alongside current roles

  • You want comprehensive adaptive infrastructure built over 12-18+ months

What this engagement looks like:

I join your leadership team as Chief Adaptability Officer (fractional or interim), taking executive ownership of building your adaptive capability infrastructure across all six dimensions.

I work alongside your team to build specific capability dimensions from your roadmap. Most commonly: governance + internal capability building, or leadership development + cultural embedding.

Typical engagement: 6-9 months
Investment: €50,000 - €100,000 (based on scope)

 

Outcome: Specific capability dimensions strengthened, your team equipped to continue building, foundation in place for expanding to other dimensions later.

TIER 3: Transformation Execution Support

Expert guidance for high-stakes changes that must succeed

 

You need this if:

  • You're facing a complex transformation RIGHT NOW (M&A, ERP, restructure)

  • Diagnostic revealed weak execution systems but you need to execute immediately

  • Timeline is aggressive and you can't wait to build infrastructure first

  • Failure would have serious business consequences

I provide hands-on strategic partnership to execute your critical transformation while transferring capability to your team. Using proven methodology, I guide you through strategy, stakeholder engagement, execution, and sustainment.

What this looks like:

You own all diagnostic deliverables and implement recommendations with your internal team. Many organizations do this successfully, especially if they have PMO capability, change expertise, and strong executive sponsorship.

 

Optional support: I'm available for periodic advisory calls if you encounter specific challenges during implementation. Pricing based on scope and frequency.

 

Investment: Just the diagnostic (€18-28K)

 

Outcome: Depends entirely on your internal execution capability. Some organizations implement very effectively. Others realize 6-9 months later they need more support and re-engage for Tier 1 or 2.
